Expo Hightex is Canada's most important event for textile-related technologies, and as Media Officer it is my pleasure to submit our second press release for 2009. The event has a special focus on the personal protection, medical, transport and construction industries.

Expo Hightex 2009 will be taking place on 7 & 8 October 2009 in Montréal, Canada, and we will be attracting at least 1000 textile and geosynthetic experts and business leaders from both sides of the Atlantic. This year, the Canadian Space Agency will be presenting the role of textiles in the North American space programme.

Blood-born viruses and contagion like HIV prevented by laminate films. Camouflage print fabrics with infrared signal suppression technology to help hide military personnel round the clock. Arc-flash and flash-fire resistant fabrics protecting workers from clothing ignition and severe burns. CONSOLTEX is proud of its on-going R&D initiatives that are actively improving people's lives and protecting us from risk.

Expo Hightex is taking place on 7 & 8 October 2009 and Consoltex is proud to be demonstrating its cutting edge technology. The Saint-Laurent company will be just one of the many fascinating innovators to be discovered at Expo Hightex 2009. If the thought of learning more about high-tech Canadian products turns you on, come down and check it out. You'll be rubbing shoulders with international industry and research leaders.

Expo Hightex showcases the latest technological advances to encourage technological and commercial partnerships. A not-to-missed industry event, it attracts one thousand business and research leaders. Though its focus is Canadian textiles, the conferences and networking opportunities are aimed at such industries as aerospace, health, protective equipment and construction. It is organized by the CTT Group, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to technological and commercial development.
