PetroChina plans to build aromatics plant

PetroChina has announced that it plans to build an aromatics plant with production capacity of one million tons per year in Changzhou.
It has put forward the proposal and detailed plans to authorities in Changzhou, which is currently reviewing the proposals relating to safety and environment.
PetroChina is a listed arm of state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China's biggest producer of oil.
