Yarnex draws accolades from participants & visitors

The visitors too were equally enthused. Besides the wide range of cotton yarn, participants displayed an interesting variety of polyester, nylon, viscose, modal, tencel, metallic, silks, and yarn for special application in the field of medical, technical, high fashion apparel, intimate garments and sportswear. There was one participant who had 'organic yarn' made of waste material, including used PET bottles, which turned out to be a popular exhibit at the show. Mr Kumar Bavishi, President, Kajpac (USA) Ltd., North Carolina, found the show, “Very interesting and informative and could gather information of Indian companies producing yarn.”

Mr R. S. Nithyanandam, CEO, Ambal Trading Co., Tirupur noted, “This show was an eye opener for us. We found a lot of man-made fibers, polyester, viscose, organic and filament yarn, which local companies were not aware of. The purpose of this show has been fulfilled.”

Ms Wei Wei Myo, Director, Keinnayi Weaving Factory, Myanmar, who had flown in especially for this show found the product range showcased at the show very useful. “The quality of the vendors was very good and we even found the type of cotton yarns we were looking for right here,” she said.

Another interesting feature at the show was the well-attended seminar 'Capacity Enhancement Workshop Series for the Textile and Clothing Enterprises' titled 'Building Competitiveness through Value Addition.' The sessions were addressed by well-known personalities from the government, academic and industrial segments.
