Mr Nitin Kasliwal owned, S Kumars Nationwide (SKNL) is planning to carve out an independent corporate identity that reflects the current market positioning of the group. SKNL has well known brands like Reid & Taylor and Carmicheal House in its fold.

Speaking about the change in corporate identity, Mr Kasliwal said, “We will have a new name, corporate logo and headquarters and these changes are part of our efforts to create a new global corporate identity, since we want to position our selves as a global textile company”.

The original S Kumars group was founded in 1948 and has grown from a turnover of Rs one billion in 1992 to Rs 23 billion clocked by SKNL in the previous fiscal. S Kumars had created an identity for itself in school uniforms.

SKNL recently bought the US based 125 year old suit manufacturing company, Hartmax. SKNL is involved in the business of worsted suitings, consumer textiles, high-value fine cotton, home textiles and apparels.
