World's first textile based solar battery

The Taiwan textile sector is well known for bring innovative new technologies to the marketplace along with addressing the concerns of a greener environment.
Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI) and Taiwan Technical Textile Association (TTTA) have jointly developed a portable power bank, which is the world's first textile-based flexible super capacitor that can be commercially produced.
This product combines the power generating capability of the flexible solar battery, the conversion ability of the flexible super capacitor, the storage and supply mechanism of the power bank and the system integration technology of a textile product.
The new flexible solar battery can convert sunlight to electricity even when the sunlight is weak and can generate more power for a longer length of time using breakthrough carbon fiber technology.
