PVTEX Dinh Vu to set up PSF plant

The Dinh Vu Petrochemical and Fiber Joint Stock Company (PVTEX Dinh Vu), a joint venture company between Petrovietnam and Vinatex, is intending to set up a Polyester staple fiber plant in Dinh Vu industrial zone of Hai Phong City.
Daily production capacity of the projected plant will be 400 tons of staple fiber and 100 tons of PTA and MEG.
The plant is targeted to be complete by 2011 and will provide raw materials to the textile garment sectors to produce all types of high quality fibres, yarns and garments in order to develop the textile and garment sector of the country.
