During October 6 to 10, around 400 ancient artifacts related to the traditional crafts of Hanoi are being showcased at the National Museum of Vietnamese History.
For the first time, during the exhibition, craftsmen in Van Phuc silk village will demonstrate their silk making process and will disclose their secrets in silk making.
The National Museum of Vietnamese History has organized this exhibition in co-operation with the Vietnam's UNESCO Club on Research and Preservation for the Value of National Antiquity.
In order to mark 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi next year, the organizing board is also conducting a handicrafts contest.
