Clariant introduces PV Fast Red HGR at CAD RETEC

Clariant will feature the newest addition to its line of high-performance azo pigments – PV Fast Red HGR – at the upcoming CAD RETEC 2009 in Savannah, Ga., Oct. 18-20. Clariant will be represented in Exhibitor Spaces 7 & 8 at the show.
PV Fast Red HGR, represented by Colour Index Number Pigment Red 285, is a brilliant yellow-shade red pigment that offers excellent heat stability and fastness properties and does not cause warping.
“PV Fast Red HGR can be mixed easily in combination with our PV Fast Yellow HGR to produce various shades of orange at a very economical cost,” says Bill Smith, Technical Manager for Plastics with Clariant's Pigments business. “And this pigment is suitable in use with a wide range of polymers, including polyolefins, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polycarbonate and others.”

At RETEC Clariant will also promote colorants from its PV Fast, Graphtol, Hostaperm, Novoperm, Permanent, Solvaperm, Polysynthren and Hostasol ranges, products distinguished by outstanding resistance and fastness properties, performance, purity of shade and economy in use. Also showcased will be a broad portfolio of additives products, including Hostanox and Hostavin light stabilizers, Licowax, Licolub, Licomont and Licocene waxes and Exolit flame retardants.
