ECHA publishes the dates for the lead registrant webinars

A series of interactive multimedia events have now been scheduled to provide Lead Registrants with key information on the registration of substances.

Each webinar will last up to two hours and is available for up to 1000 participants. ECHA is hosting three webinars in 2009 with more events planned for 2010.

• Webinar 1 - 'General principles of dossier preparation and submission'
4 November 15:00 - 17:00 Eastern European Time (GMT +2)

• Webinar 2 - 'Information requirements I''
30 November 15:00 - 17:00 Eastern European Time (GMT +2)

• Webinar 3 - 'Information requirements II''
10 December 15:00 - 17:00 Eastern European Time (GMT +2)

The first webinar, 'General principles of dossier preparation and submission' provides Lead Registrants with specific advice on how to prepare and submit their registration dossiers to ECHA. The webinar will include among other topics, an overview of assembling a dossier in IUCLID 5, things to consider when submitting a dossier, as well as advice on postsubmission and final decision communication.

Participation in the webinars is available only for Lead Registrants who have notified ECHA of their role through the Lead Registrant nomination webform available on the ECHA website. In order to ensure a place in the webinars, it is recommended that you notify ECHA of your Lead Registrant Role without delay. The invitation for each webinar as well as the individual webinar programs will be sent directly to the Lead Registrants by ECHA.
