Shilpotsav Noida '09 exhibits myriad handicrafts

Shilpotsav Noida 2009, a 10 day handicrafts fair, was inaugurated by Mr. Vinod Kumar Singh, Uttar Pradesh minister of state for Tourism.
Around 200 craftsmen and artists from five different states took part in this fair with variety of products. The fair also encompasses cultural programs lined up for all ten days.
The products such as Pashmina shawl, lacquerware, cane and bamboo, kalamkari wall hangings, Jamawar shawl, terracotta pottery, leaf carving, stone carving, kora grass mat weaving, kantha embroidery, sea shell craft, and many other unique and multi utility artifacts are showcased in the event.
