Malaysian and Indonesian entrepreneurs have many prospects; to encash rising demand for handicraft products, in spite of the impulsive economic situations, said Mr. Tan Sri Da'i Bachtiar, Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia.

He was inaugurating 'Inacraft Lifestyle '09 in Malaysia Expo' in Kuala Lumpur, with the objective to exhibit finest craft products of Indonesia, which is amongst the most important sectors in Indonesia.

He appealed entrepreneurs of both the countries to join hands and develop business network through the fair, which has been organized for the first time in Malaysia.

In the year 2008, Indonesia's export of craft products, alone to Malaysia, amounted to US $4.47 million, which was 3.77 percent of Indonesia's worldwide exports of handicrafts.

Around 62 Indonesian exhibitors displayed their products, including batik, garment and embroidery, and wooden-made accessories, in this three-day exposition.
