DuPont Protection Technologies(DPT) showcased personal protection solutions for fire service emergency responders at a recent fire show in Beijing, China. The DPT display included:
- Fire-turnout gear made with DuPont Nomex fiber.
- Tychem TK puncture- and tear-resistant garments that protect against toxic and corrosive gases, liquids and solid chemicals.
- Firefighting gloves made of Kevlar fiber.

Also shown for the first time in Asia was the new Nomex On Demand thermal liner technology that expands to protect firefighters in reaction to rising temperatures.

"We are committed to protecting lives and providing the marketplace with quality solutions," said Lloyd Gao, sales leader for emergency response, DuPont China. "The enthusiastic response to our technologies at the exhibition indicates that we are on the right track."

The exhibit attracted many visitors, including high-ranking fire service and government officials who were enthusiastic about the scientific advantage of DuPont offerings. Many took photos of the product displays and commented on the attractive design of the booth, as well.

DPT is an innovation leader in scientifically-engineered products and systems that protect lives, the environment and critical processes. The business is built on well-known and highly respected DuPont brands, including Nomex and Kevlar advanced fibers, Tyvek and Sontara nonwovens, and Tychem.
