Nakoda Textile enhances production capacity in Surat

Nakoda Textile Industries, sponsored Surat Textile Park under the name Surat Super Yarn Park has now increased the production capacity to 151,000 MPTA of texturised yarn in the wake of revival of textile industry.
The Park which is Surat, Gujarat, is 1st of of its kind in India for Processing of POY to texturised yarn. Its provides the complete infrastructer (Factory Building, Captive Power Plant, Laboratory & other utilites lioke Road, Water, Secutiry, Cretches etc.)to 27 enterprises who would be putting 108 texturisimg Machines capable of producing 151,000 MPTA of texturised yarn. The Park which is nearing completion is being setup under the the scheme of Integrated Textuile Parks by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Nakoda Textile industries Ltd., the core sponsor, has contributed 18.5% to the total equaty of RS.16 Crore of Comopany. The Park is eligible for grant of Rs. 40 Crore from GOI(Rs. 24 Crore already Recevid). The Rs. 107 Crore project is being implemented by IF & FS as Project Managment Consultant.
Nakoda Textile is expected to become India`s first fully integrated polyester yarn company after completition of its Rs 3.33 billion backward integration, expansion and diversification project as it would be producing value added only i.e fully drawn yarn (FDY) and texturised yarn.
Nakoda Textile is already one of the largest FDY manufacturer in India shall be producing 60,000 MTPA of the same on completition of the project.
