KARL MAYER at VDMA Roadshow; high tech meets tradition

The next roadshow "German textile technology for technical textiles India'" is planned for 8 and 9 March in New Delhi, 11 and 12 March in Mumbai. It will be presented by the VDMA in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and will comprise around 16 technological reports presented by members.
One of these will be KARL MAYER. This renowned manufacturer based in Obertshausen will be showing the Indian public its Opt-O-Matic sectional warping machine which can also process coarse industrial yarns at high tension and spans of up to 5 m.
In addition its Saxon subsidiary KARL MAYER MALIMO will report on knitting solutions for the production of composites, and advertising media. Here attention will be focussed on the Malitronic MULTIAXIAL. These discourses will be supplemented by the presentation of selected means for the efficient production of technical and semi-technical textiles from the parent company.
Here particular attention should be paid to current developments in the following sectors: end-contour-near seat constructions, warp-knitted spacer fabrics in lightweight structures, seats, nets and means for protection against the sun in cars, fish farming, mosquito, safety and packaging nets, and agricultural nets – a comprehensive range, therefore, which should inspire Indian textile manufacturers.
