Martha Stewart praises DuPont Sorona Carpet

Mohawk's SmartStrand Carpet made with DuPont Sorona renewably sourced polymer exceeded the expectations of housekeeping perfectionist and media celebrity, Martha Stewart, publisher, TV host, author and successful businesswoman.
In front of a studio audience and the millions who watch her daily TV program, Martha poured red wine on SmartStrand with DuPont Sorona carpet. It was the first time a carpet earned a segment on The Martha Stewart Show, and her demonstration provided proof that this carpet can stand up to the toughest tests. Martha not only showed her viewers just how easy it is to remove tough stains with a little warm water, but also declared it a “Martha's Find.”
"SmartStrand with DuPont Sorona carpet is an amazing product,and we're delighted that The Martha Stewart Show featured it," said David Duncan, vice president of marketing for Mohawk. "The carpet continues to impress people with its stain resistance, easy cleaning, and beauty."
A sustainable flooring option, SmartStrand triexta carpet made with DuPont Sorona is also luxuriously soft. Bio–PDO, a renewable resource made from corn sugar, makes up 37% of DuPont Sorona. The engineering of this carpet builds in stain protectors so they will never wear or wash off. It will even resist discoloration from bleach.
Martha even confided that her concern about spills and stains has made her hesitate to serve red wine at parties.
