CAI plans more cotton testing laboratories

The Cotton Association of India (CAI) has decided to set up more cotton testing laboratories across the country to meet the growing demand from the cotton sector.
The CAI hopes to provide the sector with better instrument testing facilities for cotton producers across the value-chain and had set up one laboratory in Rajkot in Gujarat and in Akola and Aurangabad in Maharashtra, last year.
CAI plans to set up a laboratory every few months in various locations across the cotton producing areas in India along with which it also intends to make the laboratory testing results approved by others across the globe.
