Cationic yarn market steady

Polyester cationic yarn performed steadily in Shengze market last week (December 28 to January 3), although trade volume declined slightly compared with the previous week with little change in prices.
Among FDY yarn products, FDY 63D and 50D stood at 13,100 Yuan / ton and 14,200 Yuan / ton, respectively, flat with the previous week. 75D, 100D and 150D were traded at 13,400 Yuan / ton, 13,000 Yuan / ton and 12,400 Yuan / ton, respectively.
There was little demand for FDY 50D, 63D and 75D and market prices of POY and DTY products remained unchanged. Cationic POY 50D/48F, 75D/48F and 100D/36F remained at 11,900 Yuan, 11,700 Yuan and 11,500 Yuan per ton, respectively.
The smooth movement of cationic yarn market is attributed to quotes of upstream CDP slice which have entered an upward trend and which provides support to cationic yarn market. Second, purchasing power from downstream weaving sector for cationic yarn has also been heating up.
