Nakoda Textile joins Rs 10 billion club

Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd, one of India's largest players in the fully drawn yarn segment, has joined the 1000 crore club. Its Net Sales for the financial year ended 31st December 2009 is Rs. 1029.30 crores, crossing the 1000 cr mark.
The PAT for the fourth quarter jumped by 98% to Rs.6.84 cr from Rs 3.45 cr last year.
The EPS for twelve months is Rs. 13.68, an increase of 60% over the last year's EPS of Rs. 8.52.
Anouncing the results, Mr. Babubhai Jain, chairman & Managing Direstor of Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd. said, "The fact that we have crossed 1000 crores markis very significant to us. We believe this is the milestone, with many to follow. This sustained growth is part of our plan to become a significant player in our industry, globally."
