MEGlobal, a major supplier of Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) has contracted its Asian Contract Price (ACP) at US $1,100 per metric ton (Asian main ports) for arrivals in February 2010, which is a $160 per metric ton hike over the January ACP which stood at $940 per metric ton
Meanwhile Shell also has nominated its February 2010 ACP for MEG at $1,040 per metric ton (CFR Asia), which also means an increase of $120 per metric ton against its January ACP of $920 per metric ton,
Another global and major MEG player, Sabic too announced its February ACP at $1,020 per ton CFR, against the $925 per metric ton, announced earlier for arrivals in January.
