Messe begins exhibitor-acquisition campaign for Texprocess

Messe Frankfurt has begun its international exhibitor-acquisition campaign for Texprocess, Leading International Trade Fair for Processing Textile and Flexible Materials, in Frankfurt am Main from 24 to 27 May 2011. Exhibitors registering by 27 March 2010 benefit from an early-booking rate.
Numerous market leaders have already said they will be exhibiting at Texprocess. They include Dürkopp Adler, Expert Systemtechnik, Ferd. Schmetz, Gütermann, Groz-Beckert, Human Solutions, Lectra, Meyer & Meyer, Topcut-Bullmer, Veit and Xi'an Typicals. The notional sponsor of Texprocess is VDMA Garment and Leather Technology.
Rolf Meyer, General Manager of the Meyer & Meyer Logistics Group has joined the Texprocess Advisory Council. About Texprocess, Rolf Meyer says, “As international fashion-logistics specialists, close customer proximity is vital. We work with our customers from the raw-materials stage, via production logistics, to the point of sale. With its subject-specific and international orientation, Texprocess is the ideal platform for closely monitoring current developments in the textile-processing sector. At the fair, we will have the chance to speak directly to manufacturers and producers in an innovative setting and this will enable us to tailor our transport and logistics services to their specific needs.”
Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt, adds, “We are delighted that Rolf Meyer has agreed to join the Texprocess Advisory Council. This will reinforce the significance of textile logistics as one of the main product groups at Texprocess and is important because international procurement management is essential for the smooth operation of all parts of the worldwide garment-manufacturing industry.” The Texprocess Advisory Council consists of 19 highly reputed representatives of the international industry, institutes and associations.
On an around 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, Texprocess will show the latest machines, plant, processes and services for the garment and textile processing industry. The range of products to be seen at the leading international trade fair covers all process stages from design, cutting, CAD/CAM, preparations for processing using processing machines and methods, to distribution logistics, finishing, waste disposal, recycling and environmental protection.
Texprocess is aimed at an audience from the fields of garment manufacturing, textile processing, technical-textile processing, the wholesale / retail trades, handicrafts, services, science and training. As on the exhibitor side, the proportion of the approximately visitors expected from outside Germany is likely to be in excess of 50 percent.
