Garment brands appeal to international exhibitors at Intertextile

Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics 2010 ( 30-Mar-10 to 01-Apr-10) recently confirmed a special zone for Japanese apparel fabrics and textile related suppliers for the upcoming March event. The zone will comprise of several leading exhibitors, such as Kurabo, Takisada-Nagoya, Uni Textile and Yagi, renowned for their superior design, high quality and innovative versatility.

Incorporating fine Japanese technology in their vintage denim, vintage khaki and hemp fabric, first time exhibitors, Suma Corporation, is set to participate in the debut zone. “It's important for us to distinguish ourselves from other international suppliers. Joining the Japan zone will show prospective buyers that our products meet with the premium quality that is synonymous with Japanese standards,” reflected Mr Kazuyuki Miyagawi, Manager for the company.

Mr Miyagawi further commented: “Another notable aspect for participating at the 2010 event is the growing consumer goods market in China. We expect to meet with many emerging Chinese brands at this fair from Beijing and surrounding area.”

In fact, a number of leading brands from China attended last year's fair including Li Lang, Ningbo Shanshan, Septwolves and Younger. In addition to several national luxury brand names that visited the fair, many international brands participated as well. In 2009 these included: American Eagle, Baby Dior, Donna Karan, Edwin, Esprit, Marc Jacob, Phillips-Van Heusen, Perry Ellis and many more. This diverse buyer profile is vital for industry manufacturers and suppliers hoping to stimulate their business and generate new leads.

Also new to the fair is the debut business-matching programme. This value added service will make certain that selected VIP buyers and exhibitors will connect based on their needs.

Concurrent events offer crossover of potential buyers Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics occurs alongside the China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC), and Yarn Expo Spring (for apparel fibres and yarns), making it the obvious choice for manufacturers to meet with thousands of buyers from China and abroad to source a range of products from fabrics to finished garments.

Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics 2010 features cotton,wool, silk, linen, ramie, man-made, knitted and other materials along with accessories. The show is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, The Sub-Council of Textile Industry – CCPIT and China Textile Information Centre.
