7th China International Acrylonitrile & Acrylic Fiber Forum

Recovering from the shock of global financial crisis, has world economy already shaken off the shadow? What a role will the hot money surging into rising economies play? What challenges and opportunities are greeting China acrylic fiber industry?

After the crisis, prices for bulk commodities had been rebounding, with NYMEX crude oil surging above $80/bbl from the $33.98/bbl early in the year, before it retraced down and went hovering between $73- 76/bbl. Where is the market going in 2010 under inflationary pressure? Will devaluation go on with dollars and push crude oil values higher?

Acrylonitrile prices have been climbing up during 2009 on support of improving economy and reviving acrylic fiber industry. Will demand continue to grow, and what impact will be brought to acrylonitrile supply and domestic capacities by expanding ABS and AM/PAM capacity?

Acrylic fiber prices reached record-setting level in 2009. What's the factor behind the surge, and will the strong momentum be maintained in 2010? How will acrylic fiber compete with other fibers? Will new type acrylic fibers provide more competitiveness?

Focusing on these widely concerned issues, producers, traders and downstream consumers need an opportunity to exchange info and ideas. With experiences gained from success of previous six forums, China Chemical & Fiber Economic Information Network (CCFEI) and PCI Acrylonitrile Ltd are to hold the 7th China International Acrylonitrile & Acrylic Fiber Forum (2010).
