Dr. Seshadri Ramkumar recognized for Nonwovens Research and Services

Dr. Seshadri Ramkumar, Associate Professor of Nonwoven Materials in the Department of Environmental Toxicology and the Manager of the Nonwovens & Advanced Materials Laboratory at The Institute of Environmental and Human Health was honored by the Textile Association of India, Ahmedabad Unit on January 8th in the conference on "Textile Industry: Innovations for Sustainability and Growth" held at Ahmedabad, India.
Dr. Ramkumar was felicitated for his nonwoven accomplishments and his services to the technical textiles industry in India. Dr. P. R. Roy, former President of the Textile Association of India (TAI) presented a felicitation plaque to Ramkumar.
TAI is the largest professional society in India in the field of textiles. Dr. Ramkumar delivered a lecture titled, "Indian Technical Textile Market Scenario: Opportunities, Scope & Challenges." in the conference. A large number of technical and marketing professionals attended the event. Mr. T. L. Patel, President and Mr. H. V. Trivedi, Hon. Secretary of TAI-Ahmedabad played key roles in the conference.
