65th All India Textile Conference concludes on grand scale

The 65th All India Textile Conference and TAIEx 2010 Exhibition was held at Indore on 23rd to 25th January 2010 hosted by The Textile Association (India) – Madhya Pradesh Unit on the theme ““GLOBAL TEXTILES – BUSINESS PROCESS OPTIMIZATION”.

This conference was supported by the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and SKNL was the Lead Sponsor, while India ITME Society, CHT, Rieter, Maral Overseas, Spentex, Vardhaman, STI India Ltd., Ambuja Spinners, Ritspin, Jajoo Group, Vippy Spinpro ltd., A.T.E., Sutlej Industries, LCC, Trident, Proma Group, Huntsman, Banswara Syntax & Alps Textiles were the co-sponsors and supporters.

Inaugural Programme of TAIEx 2010 Exhibition
On 23rd January during the inaugural function of TAIEx 2010 Exhibition, Shri S.K. Pandey, Chief Organizer, Exhibition & Vice President of Madhya Pradesh Unit welcomed the Chief Guest Shri Raghawji, Honorable Minister of Finance & Planning, Government of Madhya Pradesh, the guest of honour Shri Sajjan Singh Verma, Member of Parliament, Dewas, Shri Pramod Gupta, Managing Director, Proma Industries, Shri Virendra Goyel, Managing Director, Deepak Woolens, Office Bearers of TAI – Central Office, G.C. Members and other prominent speakers and industrialists from all over the country.

TAIEx 2010 Exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri aghawji, Honorable Minister of Finance & Planning, Government of Madhya Pradesh and joinrd him other dignitaries on the Dias by lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vadan by Ms. Aakansha. During the Presidential address, Shri Arvind Kumar Upadhyay, Chairman, TAI MP Unit & Chief Operating Officer, SKNL, Dewas Operation, emphasized that the Textile Association has been playing an Important role from time to time in the service of Textile Industry through sharing knowledge to the Textile Professionals by keeping them apprised of up to date happening and developments in the field of textiles.

During the address by Chief Guest Shri Raghavji, Honourable Minister of Finance & Planning, Government of Madhya Pradesh & Guest of Honour Shri Sajjan Singh Verma, Member of Parliament, expressed their interest & assured for all the helps for the promotion of Indian Textile & Clothing Industry in M.P. from their respective ministry.

Thereafter, Chief Guest Shri Raghavji, Honourable Minister of Finance & Planning, Government of Madhya Pradesh inaugurated the Exhibition hall and visited the various Exhibition stall along with other guests. He dialogued with the exhibitors.

On 24th January 2010 on the inaugural programme, Shri Arvind Upadhyay, Chief Organizer & Chairman TAI MP Unit welcomed the Chief Guest Smt. Panabaaka Lakshmi, Minister of State for Textile, Government of India.
