Three International Exhibitions for textile & apparel sector

CEMS-Global, a Multinational Exhibition Organizer is pleased to announce the commencing of its operations in Sri Lanka as `CEMS Lanka'.

CEMS-Global has launched its most important International Trade Exhibitions for the Trade & Industry of Sri Lanka with a vision to further expand into the fast booming Sri Lankan Industry sector and bringing most reputed International Manufacturers and Suppliers through its Exhibitions. A Press Conference was held on the occasion in Colombo – Sri Lanka at Hilton Colombo on 10th February, 2010.

Important related Industry Heads of Associations attended the Press Conference as Special Guests, namely, Mr. Kumar Mirchandani – President of `Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association', Mr. Hameed Ashroff – Chairman – Accessories of `Fabric & Apparel Accessory Manufacturers Association (FAAMA), Mr. Vipula Wanigasekera – General Manager of `Sri Lanka Convention Bureau' and Mr. Rohan Masakorala – Secretary General of Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF).

Since its inception in 1992, CEMS, in this span of over 18 years has made a commendable presence as a Multinational Exhibition Organizer in South & South-East Asia with operations in over 6 countries. CEMS organizes over 25 exhibitions per annum on all important sectors of the trade and economy. CEMS - Conference & Exhibition Management Services Ltd.- USA in association with CEMS – India is organizing 3 exhibitions in one go, namely, “Textech Sri Lanka 2010 International Expo” – Sri Lanka's International Textile Garment Technology and Machinery Expo; “4th Dye+Chem Sri Lanka 2010 International Expo” – An Exclusive International Exhibition on Dyes and Fine & Specialty Chemicals; and `Colombo International Yarn & Fabric Show 2010', targeted not only to the Textile & Apparel sector but also to the entire Export sector of Sri Lanka.

The Textile & Apparel Industry of South Asia has the Key position in the export sector. Keeping in mind the potential of this sector and to further boost the exports, CEMS has been organizing the Textech since 10 years and now has brought this International branded exhibition to Sri Lanka as there is a need for such exhibition in Sri Lanka which displays the latest technology that the country can obtain to update with the quality of the competitors in the world Market.

With the ever increasing competition in the world market, the Industries of Sri Lanka can expand their share in the market abroad and at the same time could attract more foreign investment in the highly potential Industry, specially the Garment & Textile Industry.

The `Textech' exhibition has been endorsed by `Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association', Sri Lanka Convention Bureau and `Fabric & Apparel Accessory Manufacturer's Association'(FAAMA). The Exhibitions will be open for Trade / Business visitors only everyday from 10.00 am to 6.30 pm upon registration at the Expo venue.
