PTA plant of Tuntex to go off-stream in mid-2010

Tuntex Petrochemicals Inc, Taiwan is planning to undertake the maintenance turnaround at its PTA plant located in Tainan somewhere in May or June, 2010.
This was revealed to fibre2fashion, by official sources at Tuntex. The PTA plant located in Tainan has a production capacity of 450,000 tons per annum.
The source also added by saying that currently the plant is running at more than 80 percent production capacity and that their current PTA price is tentatively US $960 per ton (CFR China).
