Scrubs with VisaEndurance provides with comfort & style

In a significant development for an industry that has remained relatively unchanged for decades, J. Kirby Best, CEO of Nashville, TN-based Performance Healthcare Products Inc., has announced the market launch of the first high-performance line of scrubs for the medical, dental and veterinary industries.

Performance Scrubs utilize a proprietary, technologically advanced material developed by Milliken & Company, one of the world's largest privately-held textile and chemical manufacturers. The product's design was developed with input from professional nurses, resulting in a scrub that combines comfort and function into a fashionable and durable garment.

VisaEndurance, a Milliken antimicrobial technology, is infused into the material via silver ions encapsulated in ceramic cages. Once the cage comes in contact with moisture, such as human sweat, the silver ions release thus preventing odor caused by the bacteria. Performance Scrubs provide a host of important benefits to the wearer such as:
- Long lasting antimicrobial effectiveness
- Moisture wicking properties
- Odor-control
- Stain release
- New level of comfort
- Lightweight feel
- Extreme durability with little fading or change of fit
- Widest range of sizes available, unique three-quarter sleeve length and special cuts for women
- Made in the U.S.A.

“We are very excited to be able to offer a product that truly speaks to the needs of the industry,” said Best, who, with his wife Anne, also heads DryDreams Sleepwear which produces a popular line of sweat-wicking sleepwear for those suffering from night sweats. “While medical technology continues to rapidly advance, those on the front lines shouldn't be left behind. Our scrubs move past being just a uniform and instead offer the real life benefits these professionals deserve.”

“J. Kirby Best and Performance Healthcare Products, Inc. have a history of providing superior garments to its customers and they continue to innovate with their new line of Performance Scrubs,” said Brenda Burris-Drake, ASF Division Marketing Communications of Milliken & Company, developer and manufacturer of VisaEndurance. “We are pleased that Performance Healthcare Products chose VisaEndurance antimicrobial fabrics to further enhance their performance scrubs product offering.”

Performance Scrubs are manufactured and distributed at the Performance Healthcare Inc. facility in Cullman, Alabama. They were designed in conjunction with doctors and nurses from the respected Cullman Regional Medical Center and offer such functional features as strategically placed pockets and three-quarter arm length for greater protection while the women's designs include a unique criss-cross 'bra' and mid-rise pant. Performance Scrubs also offer the widest ranges of sizes on the market, Small to 5XL, and come in a variety of solid, dynamic colors.
