After years of dithering, a committee has finally approved a newly developed variety of genetically modified cotton seeds for commercial use, which has been developed after nearly four years of research.
This variety of cotton seed is expected to fulfill the expectations of all those involved in the cotton value-chain like farmers, ginners and the spinners.
The cotton seed termed FH-113 has been developed after four years of conducting research and development under Dr Khan, Director of the Cotton Research Institute of Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI).
