New design possibilities take center stage at Casa Fiora during High Point Furniture Market with the introduction of 30 fabrics and related product details that will inspire consumers with new ideas for decorating. The wide range of colors, textures and patterns continue to showcase Casa Fiora as a company known for its product flexibility.

“Colors this season trend toward conservative, but we are seeing blasts of pattern and color that provide exciting décor options and prove that people are ready for rejuvenation,” said Wimberley Earp, design manager for Casa Fiora. “These trends and ongoing input from our customers were the driving forces behind our fabric introductions this market.”

Proving that elegance never goes out of style, Casa Fiora will introduce several new silks, including Sahara, a textured design in the colors Opal, Ocean and Stone. Also new is Koshi Beige, a variegated raw silk that shows the influence of nature. Bringing dimension to the silk line is Darma Stripe Sunset, a rich textured stripe in cappuccino, red and brown. To boost its solid silk offerings, Casa Fiora will introduce Heather, a trend-right lilac color and Snow, a much sought after pure white.

Also new for market are additional linen colors, including Navy, Brick Red and Birch. Casa Fiora's premium herringbone linen Dorado will be shown in Flax. Cedar Stripe brings pattern to the linen collection with stripes of soft sage, beige and brown.

“Linen fabrics continue to thrive in home décor and bring an important eco quality to our fabric collection,” Earp said. “Our newest linen colors reflect the warmth and comfort of nature.”

Casa Fiora will not overlook patterns this market, adding fabrics that reflect the company's passion for unique designs. Palisades, a multi stripe, will be offered in Aqua and Spring. A large houndstooth pattern, Aberdeen, will be shown in an unlikely palette of spa and cream. Also new is Mandalay Sage, a soft ethnic design exclusive to Casa Fiora. Barcelona, a baroque inspired pattern, will be shown in Latte and Bronze. Bringing a global influence is Malay Indigo, a large-scale blue ikat design.

Paying equal attention to the popularity of performance fabrics, Casa Fiora will add 10 fabrics from the Joe Ruggiero Collection for Sunbrella, a program that was first introduced in Fall 2009.

“Performance and durability are important for home décor, as people look for fabrics that will last and won't require extra maintenance,” Earp said. “Our expanded collection of Joe Ruggiero fabrics offers functional yet beautiful design options.”

Additions to Casa Fiora's Joe Ruggiero program include Blox Slate, a geometric pattern, Joy Char, a chambray blue and brown with a circular motif and Origami Taupe, an interlocking tan and white design. Ruggiero's Lazio Leaf and Prato Mandarin feature damask designs in bright color combinations. More traditional patterns include Chex Vellum, Dots Nice Char, Elsa Parchment and the herringbone stripe Traverse in both Cadet and Mink.
