Harry Lucas introduces machine for curved fabrics

Germany based, specialist knitting machine manufacturer; Harry Lucas GmbH has added a new knitting machine to its existing range, which can produce cylindrical, conical and curved tubular knitted fabrics, used for supporting the knee, ankle and elbow.
The four feed RR2-Z-FBR-108 has a number of interesting features. It has an easily programmable electronic control unit for saving all requested programs and also has the ability to program the required fabric width by reducing the elastic tension.
The machine also carries features like, the ability to control stitch sizes and a special fabric takedown unit enable curved articles to be produced and a step-free drive with electromagnetic brake, to bring the machine to a very fast stop.
