SWF East, Inc. a distributor of the DTG digital printers announces the latest addition to the DTG line of direct to garment devices, the new DTG PreTreat-R Gen. II machine for pre-treating garments prior to printing. The DTG PreTreat-R Gen. II has a pneumatically driven platen that moves through the spray booth chamber delivering consistently perfect amounts of pre-treatment solution on the shirts.
Most garment printers pre-treat dark color shirts using a hand-held sprayer. Pre-treatment with this method varies greatly. Inconsistent amounts of pre-treatment on a shirt can cause poor quality printing. The DTG PreTreat-R Gen. II sends just the right amount of pre-treatment to the exact area that needs it in less time. It has an adjustable spray path width up to 16 inches covering a maximum area of 16 by 18 inches. It takes no time to learn the machine, just plug it in, fill it up with pre-treat solution, load the shirts and press a button.
A digital garment printer can pre-treat up to four shirts with the DTG PreTreat-R Gen. II in the time it would normally take to pre-treat one shirt with a hand sprayer. The DTG PreTreat-R Gen. II doesn't just work for DTG brand printers, virtually any brand of pretreatment will work. The simple speed control settings allow the operator to control how much pre-treatment is applied to the garments.
