Indonesian cotton consumption may rise – USDA report

Consumption of cotton by the domestic Indonesian textile sector is expected to increase by 2.4 percent to 2.15 million tons from the period starting in June, from 2.10 million tons attained in the same period last year.
This forecast has been made by the by the US Department of Agriculture on the presumption that, overseas buyers will increase their purchases to keep up with rise in demand, mainly due to an improvement in the developed economies.
