Discussions at ICAC conference to be beneficial to cotton industry

An international conference under the theme: “TEXTILE INDUSTRY AND NATIONAL STRATEGIES FOR SUSTAINING GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS” is scheduled for May 18, 2010 to be held in Moscow, Russia. The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Secretariat of the ICAC and the Russian Cotton Association will organize the conference. Representatives of textile and cotton industries from Russia, Central Asia and other countries are expected to participate in the conference. The conference will be held at the Ministry, Ovchinikovskaya nab., 18/1, Moscow 113324.

The conference will focus on strategies for sustaining competitiveness of the cotton textile and garment industries, the role of government support to the industry and an outlook for the Russian textile industry.

Discussions at the conference will be beneficial to the cotton industry and will serve to improve understanding of the subject matter complexity.
