Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has been named one of America's 100 Most Trustworthy Companies in a survey commissioned by Forbes.com. Audit Integrity conducted the survey, which ranks the nation's top 100 companies that have consistently demonstrated transparent and conservative accounting practices and solid corporate governance and management.

“At Jo-Ann, integrity and accountability are core values, so we are especially proud to be recognized as a company that customers and investors can trust,” said Darrell Webb, chairman and chief executive officer of Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. “Our team members work diligently to earn that trust each and every day.”

To create the list, Audit Integrity scanned more than 8,000 companies traded on U.S. exchanges with market caps of $200 million or more. Companies were grouped into three subcategories based on market capitalization. Jo-Ann is ranked as a Mid-Cap Company, and each quarter it receives an accounting and governance risk score (AGR) based on Audit Integrity's proprietary modeling, which evaluates practices that have had a high correlation with increasing shareholder risk. Jo-Ann was in the top 10 of 42 mid cap companies and one of only 11 retailers on the list.
