Q4FY10 net sales up by 61.95% at Alok Industries

• UK Retail: The performance of this business continues to encourage. Sales for the quarter increased by 4.79% to GBP 22.76 mn from GBP 21.72 mn in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the twelve month period, sales increased by 7.57% to GBP 117.06 mn from GBP 108.82 mn in the corresponding previous twelve month period.
• Update on Domestic Retail: During the quarter, 69 new `H&A? stores opened taking the total number of stores presently operational to 223. The target is to have 500 stores operational by March 2011.
