Paraxylene prices remained unchanged, in S E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton while in N E Asian market price was around US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. Sellers were firm in their sentiment and don't want to pay more than US$ 1050/ton.
PTA market has two important factors, one is Inventories, second is Demand. Downstream demand is indisputable high but supply side also remained sufficient hence prices remain stable. PTA in S E Asian market hovered around US$ 970/ton to US$ 980/ton.
Ethylene prices recovered the price level of US$ 1270/ton in S E Asian market. In N E Asian market the Ethylene price continued to assess around US$ 1310/ton, where offered price was in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1315/ton. In European market price was unchanged at US$ 1125/ton.
MEG price remained unchanged at US$ 890/ton in S E Asian market. In Chinese domestic market price was in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton while counter offer was around RMB 7450/ton.
