Benzene import prices outstrip export prices in 2010

China's exports of benzene registered 7,743 tons in March 2010, up 603.63 percent from the previous month, while total exports in the first three months of 2010 reached 17,743 tons in 2010.
The average price of March exports was US $1015.02 per ton and the average price of total exports in 2010 was $919.66 per ton.
On the other hand, China's imports of benzene touched 23,723 tons in March 2010, up 164.69 percent from the previous month and overall imports in the period January- March stood at 41,587 tons.
The average price of March imports scored $940.12 per ton and the average price of imports in the first three months of 2010 was $970.71 per ton.
The average price of March exports was US $1015.02 per ton and the average price of total exports in 2010 was $919.66 per ton.
