Pillows that help travelers feel more energized and focused, bedding that creates a spa experience inside the hotel room, and bedding that proves that eco-friendly can be beautiful – all are new offerings from United Feather & Down, highlighted at the upcoming 2010 HD Expo & Conference, May 19-21 in Las Vegas.

“At United Feather & Down, we look at sleep as more than just a necessity – we've worked for more than 200 years developing products that help people sleep better,” said United Feather & Down co-president Stephen Palmer. “We know that hotel guests are looking for a quality sleep experience when it comes to choosing a hotel, and these new offerings will enhance your guest room décor while helping your guests sleep as soundly and comfortably as possible.”

Dr. Maas Power Sleep Personal Comfort Pillow Collection
In his New York Times-bestseller “Power Sleep: The Revolutionary Program that Prepares Your Mind for Peak Performance,” world-renowned researcher and professor of Psychology at Cornell University, Dr. James B. Maas has proven that the simple act of a good night's sleep can make one more aware and productive, increase decision making skills and boost creativity. Dr. Maas, the nation's foremost expert on sleep, has partnered with United Feather & Down to develop a new line of pillows designed to help guests achieve the best sleep possible, helping them wake up refreshed, energized, alert, and ready to start the day.

The line, called Power Sleep by Dr. Maas, includes pillows with unique constructions to accommodate different sleep positions and deliver a personalized sleep experience. Dr. Maas is conducting pilot studies on sleep improvement with the new line, and preliminary results look very promising.

Portico for Hospitality
United Feather & Down has partnered with eco-brand Portico for the Portico Hospitality bedding collection. Proving that sustainability and beauty can go hand-in-hand, the pieces are as stylish as they are eco-friendly. The new line of bedding will feature 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton fabrics paired with hypoallergenic Lyocell Down, United Feather & Down's patented blend of Freshness Assured down and lyocell fibers, or the down alternative Naturelle, a down-alternative made from recycled materials and lyocell fibers. The unique blending of down or down-alternative and all-natural lyocell fibers in a filling material offer advanced moisture wicking and natural cooling properties resulting in a drier, more comfortable sleep environment.

Villa Di Borghese Hospitality and Spa Bedding Collection
Hoteliers looking to create a relaxing haven where guests can wind down should look no further than the Villa Di Borghese Hospitality and Spa Bedding Collection from Borghese and United Feather & Down. Each piece in the new line will bring a spa-like experience to the guest room, with bed pillows, comforters, spa pillows, booties and a spa body wrap meticulously crafted from premium quality white goose down fills and infused with a luxurious aloe vera treatment. The collection was inspired by the Borghese tagline, “The Elements of Life,” based on Borghese's notion of elements necessary for a healthy, beautiful life - rejuvenation, illumination, restoration, hydration and relaxation.
