Chinese polyester chip price trends sluggish

On May 7, PTA spot prices still declined, MEG market continued to fall, polyester chips, super bright polyester chips appeared sluggish, CDP slice looked dull, PET bottle chips were temporarily stable.
Spot goods of semi-dull chips traded at 10,000 Yuan / ton, in terms of acceptance within 3 months, to be delivered to buyer's destination, while mainstream level with payment in cash was generally at 9,950 Yuan / ton.
Spot goods of bright chips traded at 10,050 Yuan / ton, to be delivered within 3 months for short distance, mainstream price was generally at 10,000 Yuan / ton with payment in cash.
Spot price of CDP chips was 10,950 Yuan/ ton, in terms of acceptance in six months, to be delivered to buyer's destination.
PET bottle chips generally traded at 10,950 Yuan / ton, to be delivered to buyer's destination. As the market was approaching the weekend, wait and watch atmosphere appeared strong in the market; trade volume was light.
