Asian benzene market prices fall back

In the Asian markets, benzene price fell US $9 from the previous trading day and closed at $966-969 per ton FOB Korea on May 11. In the Chinese domestic market, trading was light on Wednesday and transactions were few.
In China, market price in East China stood at 7,500-7,600 Yuan / ton, the price in South China it touched 7,500-7,600 Yuan / ton and the price in North China was 7,500-7,600 Yuan / ton.
In the Chinese market, trading volumes were low, due to the influence of price decline in oil and overseas offers. Procurement from lower reaches was not positive, negotiation atmosphere was flat.
Market participants expect that domestic benzene market is in a mode of weak consolidation.
