Decline in polyester cationic filament continues

In the just concluded week, polyester cationic filament in Shengze market continued to fall. Prices of FDY63D and 50D stood at 14,300 Yuan / ton and 15,600 Yuan / ton, respectively, further down from the previous week.
Current prices of 75D, 100D and 150D touched 14,200 Yuan / ton, 13,500 Yuan / ton and 12,900 Yuan / ton, respectively. Prices of FDY200D and 300D are at 12800 Yuan / ton and 12,700 Yuan / ton, respectively.
In addition, prices of some POY and DTY products also declined by 200-300 Yuan / ton compared to the previous weekend.
Demand of FDY30D, 50D, and 63D is greater, as they are mainly used in production of imitated silk fabrics. Cationic filament market is expected to display a moderate correction next week.
