Bureau Veritas starts Analytical Testing at Tirupur lab

Bureau Veritas Consumer Product Services Ltd. has started its Analytical Testing services at Tirupur lab.
“With increasing concern about the adverse affects on consumer health and environment from hazardous substances, several countries have enacted legislation and restrictions on the use of these hazardous substances. These requirements affect a variety of industries including apparel, footwear, hardlines, electronic and electrical, toys and juvenile products. There is also continued pressure from governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations and changing competitive marketplace to reduce the exposure of the user to these health hazards. Many brands, retailers and manufacturers have adopted Restricted Substances List (RSL) programs to address this challenge.” Said Mr. Kunwar Venkteshwar Singh, Product Manager (New Services), Bureau Veritas.
Bureau Veritas has established a well structured testing laboratory at Tirupur with GCMS, ICPOES, UVVIS equipments providing above chemical testing facility. The facility will provide analytical testing services for Azo, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Heavy metals, lead contents, pH etc on all type of consumer products for textile, apparels, leather, hard goods industry.
