Rally in Chinese POY prices short-lived

International crude oil prices rose for two consecutive days in the fag end of the last week, polyester POY market too rebounded by 100-200 Yuan on receiving the news. Trade volumes enlarged and sales significantly improved.
Since entering this week, the market has witnessed a gradual setback. Major POY companies have introduced their latest settlement price, which is down by 350 Yuan / ton, while pre-offers have dropped by 300 Yuan / ton.
The settlement price of POY100D/36F is at 10,850 Yuan / ton, pre-offer is at 10,900 Yuan / ton and the settlement price of POY150D/48F is at 10,550 Yuan / ton, pre-offer is at 10,600 Yuan / ton.
