Price of Paraxylene went down to US $890-885/ton at Chinese and Taiwanese main port. In Korean market, price was in the range of $875-895/ton.
PTA price fell as few traders suspend trading as energy prices continued to fall down. Downstream buyers in the S E Asian market adopted stance of wait and watch and asked buying rate of around $830-835/ton. In Chinese PTA market price was around RMB 7,150/ton.
Ethylene continued to turn weak in tandem with poor upstream. Prices declined to $890-900/ton. In N E Asian and in S E Asian market, price went down to $895-900/ton.
Bonded MEG goods traded in the range of $700-695/ton at the Chinese main port, where prices declined by $10/ton. Sinopec MEG contract was around RMB 6,500/ton.
