PTA plant of Mitsubishi restarts after brief maintenance

Mitsubishi Chemicals operates a PTA plant in the state of West Bengal in India. The PTA plant no -1 recently under went a force majeure for a brief period.
According a company official who spoke to fibre2fashion, the PTA plant no-1 with a capacity of 470,000 tons per annum was shut down for maintenance on June 3, 2010.
He added by saying that the plant was restarted within a period of two days on June 5 and that the plant is currently operating at full capacity rates.
