Bextex & HTE bring higher standard in textile processing

Bextex Limited and Huntsman Textile Effects announced a strategic partnership to provide a consistent and sustainable supply of high-quality textile dyes and chemicals and technical service support to meet the stringent quality requirements of global brands and retailers.

The collaboration will see Huntsman Textile Effects as the preferred supplier for all dyes and chemicals requirement for their textile processing plants in Bangladesh.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Syed Naved Husain, CEO and Group Director of Bextex Limited said, “We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with such a reliable business. This association will create a new benchmark for productivity and innovation for both of our organizations, which is very important in this competitive market.”

Huntsman Textile Effects is the leading global provider of high-quality dyes and chemicals to the textile and related industries.

Huntsman is a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals. Its operating companies manufacture products for a variety of global industries, including chemicals, plastics, automotive, aviation, textiles, footwear, paints and coatings, construction, technology, agriculture, health care, detergent, personal care, furniture, appliances and packaging.

Beximco is Bangladesh's largest private-sector industrial conglomerate, which engages in diverse business areas including: textiles and fashion apparel, pharmaceuticals, ceramics and bone china dinnerware, media, IT and airline. The group has 40,000 employees, with a market capitalization of almost USD2 billion.

Beximco Textile Division is located on a campus setting of 200 acres near Dhaka. The site produces 36 million pounds of yarn, 40 millions yards of yarn-and piece dyed woven fabrics, 15 millions yards of indigo dyed denim fabrics, 11 million pounds of knit fabrics and 40 million pieces of fashion apparels annually.
