Ty Pennington to design fabric collection for Westminster

Joyce Robertson, General Manager, WFI Lifestyle Fabrics announced a new licensing partnership with Ty Pennington, the star of ABC's smash hit, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” Pennington will design exclusive lines of fabric and associated lifestyle finished products for global distribution in sewing, quilting, craft and DIY retail outlets that will be branded “TY PENNINGTON IMPRESSIONS.”

“I have built my career and pretty much lived my entire life around a do-it-yourself lifestyle,” says Pennington. “I am very excited about designing fabrics and products for this market with Westminster, whose artists and initiatives have influenced trends and inspired the creativity of DIY enthusiasts.”

Pennington, whose work has helped transform the lives of thousands while inspiring millions more around the world, will bring his trendsetting design sense to fabric collections including cottons, decorator width and fashion fabrics. TY PENNINGTON IMPRESSIONS will be introduced in October 2010.
