Designer Guild's fashion textiles featured as luxury slipcovers from Bemz

Bemz, the Swedish company that allows customers to personalize their IKEA sofas and chairs, announced a partnership with Designers Guild, one of the most innovative textile design companies in the world. Select Designers Guild textiles from the new Barcelona Collection will be available as slipcovers for over 70 sofa and chair models on the Bemz website beginning.

The Barcelona Collection is Designers Guild's latest collection of painterly, eclectic, Spanish inspired prints in a variety of bold, modern colorways and patterns. All of the textiles are 100 percent cotton and machine washable - factors that are extremely important to Bemz and their requirements in the use of textiles for slipcover production.

"We are thrilled to work with Designers Guild - one of the most exciting textile design companies in the world. They are a perfect fit for our growing customer base, who look for sophistication in design," said Lesley Pennington, founder and CEO of Bemz. "Our motivation at Bemz has always been to encourage personal expression. Trica Guild and Designers Guild have mastered the "mix" with new ways to use color, patterns and textures in a free, artistic way."

Designers Guild textiles are the latest addition to the Bemz Designer series - a collection featuring patterns from high-profile designers, which include Scandinavian design pioneers such as Marimekko, Stig Lindberg, Viola Grasten, Gota Tragardh and Bemz's own in-house designer Katarina Wiklund. The styles mold perfectly into a wide range of home decors and stay true to Bemz's goal to offer the best design alternative for IKEA sofas, chairs and cushions.

Designers Guild was founded in 1970 by Tricia Guild, who has been responsible for the iconic, eclectic style, which they have come to represent. Tricia's signature design has outrageous, sumptuous combinations of colour using her own interpretation of eastern, antique and bohemian references.

All Bemz covers are made of natural textiles that are both durable and machine washable. To learn more or order your own designer cover, visit www.bemz.com. The new Designers Guild textiles join Bemz' already expansive range of more than 150 fabrics. Personalization is merely a click away.
