Nasco plans textile mill in Karnaphuli EPZ

Nasco Inc, a Bangladeshi company, is all set to establish a textile producing industry at Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone with a total investment of $5.12 million.

This project of the company is believed to generate employment opportunities for around 300 persons, which includes 12 foreign personnel. According to the press reports, an agreement in this regard has already been inked between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority and Nasco Inc, as the duo recently convened a meet at Bepza complex.

Reports even specify that M Moyjuddin Ahmed, member (Investment Promotion) of Bepza closed the deal on behalf of Bepza, whereas M Abu Nasir, proprietor of Nasco did that on behalf of Nasco.
