ACN & ASF prices remain stable

In Chinese market, acrylonitrile prices remained steady around RMB 17,500 / ton. In acrylonitrile and it's downstream, profit margin was moderate, seller continued to hold material rather than selling at lower price and buyers continued to stick with contractual market over spot market.
In Asian market also Acrylonitrile prices remained stable around US $2,095 / ton.
Acrylic staple fibre prices remained stable around RMB 22,500 / ton. As upstream raw material market tended to fall, cost pressure on fiber producers was easing off. However, the market needed adjustments due to weak downstream demand.
